Moving to Ocala

Our decision to move to the Ocala area became solidified in January 2022 when we found this incredible farm, formerly known as Town and Country Farm and Lasma South. Alec and Louise Cortelis previously owned the farm, where incredible Arabians were raised and trained. Cortelis’s sold the farm in 2016 to Los Samanes Polo & Racing from Venezuela, and we purchased the farm from them on February 22, 2022. We moved 89 horses from our previous farm in Chatfield, MN, to our new home in Micanopy, Florida.

from Baton Rouge, LA – Boisvert Farm

Joel Gangi has trained, bred, judged, and shown Arabian horses for over 40 years. His farm is in Louisiana where he manages and trains approximately forty Arabians. He has three to five satellite farms that he manages, advises, as well as trains horses. These farms combined have a total of approximately 200 Arabians.

from Buffalo, NY – Strawberry Banks Farm

Brian Murch is the Arabian trainer, judge and breeder for the Strawberry Banks Farm. He has been in the care and training of the Arabian Horse for over 30 years. His talent and expertise in the ring have been a winning combination in his longevity with some of the industry’s most high profiled stables.

from Grass Valley, CA – Becker Stables

Brett Becker is the owner of Becker Stables, a 200 acre, 100 stall facility nationally recognized Arabian show horse training and breeding facility in northern California. The farm keeps 100 total and with 75 training horses under Brett’s guidance focusing mainly on western, hunter and English pleasure.

from Micanopy, FL – Conway Arabians

Jen Schmitt is a multi-national champion trainer & instructor in all Divisions & the APAHA Rising Star winner.
